Lake house vacation rental

The lake house is a white house with a long covered porch, set back on a wide lawn under spreading oaks. A patio with chairs faces the water beyond the fence, and there's a table in the shade of the porch.
Jon and Niki host it themselves, and the finish inside matches what we put into our Abilene houses.
The kitchen is built around a large white island faced in shiplap, with three wood-seat bar stools along one side. Behind it sit a stainless refrigerator, a white range hood and two brass wall sconces, and sliding barn doors open to a nook with a microwave.
The dining area has a gray wood table with metal chairs under a woven pendant, a window onto the oaks, and a pair of oars on the wall. Light wood flooring runs through the rooms.
In the bathroom, shiplap covers the walls above a light wood vanity with louvered doors, and patterned tile covers the floor.
