Great promise and potential
Some people know exactly which house they want, and it isn't ready yet. Maybe the layout is closed in, the kitchen is tired, or the floors need replacing. If you can see what it could become, we want to hear about it.
Here is the plain version of how it works. You tell us about a home you'd love for us to purchase and renovate, so that you can buy it from us once it's updated. We're open to working with homes that have great promise and potential.
We love finding old homes and dreaming up all the possibilities for how we can make them better serve the families of today. Older Abilene houses are exactly what we look for.
Brentwood Ranch and the neighbor who bought it
The clearest example is Brentwood Ranch, a rambling three bedroom, two bath ranch house. When we first walked in we saw all the potential it had, and we knew several walls needed to come down to open up the living space.
A neighbor fell for the house and ended up purchasing it once the work was finished. Custom cabinets and shelving, paint selections, quartz countertops and high end tile all went in. It was such a fun experience to work with the future homeowner during the renovation!
That's the kind of project we'd like more of: a real person in mind while the walls come down.
